FAQ
Q: Why are there two different rear air springs for the W211?
A: Mercedes designed two systems. The "Standard" system (0925) has no external tank. The "Airmatic" system (0725/0825) uses an external aluminum tank for better comfort. These are NOT interchangeable.
Q: Do I need to buy a new reservoir too?
A: Only if your original tank is corroded or leaking. This product is the rubber air spring unit that connects to your existing reservoir.
Q: Should I replace both Rear air springs at the same time?
A: Yes. Air springs are wear items that age at a similar rate. Replacing them in pairs ensures a balanced ride height and prevents the older spring from failing shortly after, which also protects your air suspension compressor from overworking.
