FAQ
Q: Why is the 4Matic strut more expensive/different than the RWD version?
A: The 4Matic strut has a complex lower attachment design (often called a "fork" or "wishbone mount") that allows the front driveshaft to pass through. The internals are also tuned differently to handle the weight and torque distribution of the AWD system.
Q: My car has 4Matic but the dealer says I don't have ADS. Will this fit?
A: Almost all W212 4Matic models equipped with factory Airmatic also feature ADS. If your strut has a wire coming from the bottom/side of the shock body, it has ADS. If you are unsure, send us your VIN and we will check the build sheet.
Q: Should I replace both front struts at the same time?
A: We highly recommend replacing air struts in pairs (Front Left & Front Right). Usually, if one side fails due to age and wear, the other side is close to failing as well. Replacing them together ensures balanced handling and extends the lifespan of your suspension compressor.

2. Order Cancellation
